I’ve lived this all my life. Gotten used to the magnificent gold and deep purple sunsets, a thick sweet scent of coconut body oil, bare feet planted in the warm white sand, giant blue-green waves rushing to the shore and good times spent with my dearest friends.
I have always known what to expect when school lets out and we pack up for the summer season. Not this time. Not this year.
