A Powerful Morning Prayer for Forgiveness

Dear God,

As I start this new day, I come to you seeking your forgiveness.

Please forgive me for any mistakes I made yesterday that hurt myself or others.

I know that I am not perfect, but with your grace, I can strive to be better.

Help me to let go of any anger or resentment I may be holding onto and replace it with kindness, love, and compassion.

Father, I also pray that you would help me to forgive those who have wronged me.

I know that holding onto bitterness and grudges can only harm myself in the long run.

Help me to see those who have hurt me through your eyes, understanding their weaknesses and struggles.

Give me the strength to extend grace to them, just as you have extended grace to me.

Lord, I pray that you would soften my heart so that I may be more tenderhearted toward others.

Help me to be patient and understanding with those who may be difficult to love.

Remind me that you love all of your children equally, regardless of their faults and shortcomings.

Thank you, God, for your unending mercy and forgiveness.

Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and blesses those around me.
